Better than the average Thanksgiving!
Thanksgiving gatherings don't always participate in sharing what each person is thankful for. Sometimes it's about watching hot bodies clothed in skin tight uniforms bouncing off each other. Cough, hello football. Others see it as a time to indulge in mountains of carbohydrates, lol. But why not make this year better than the average Thanksgiving?
It's time to talk about a challenge that's more life changing than experiencing Rhett Griffin going all "Magic Mike" at your BFF's bachelorette party! – the Gratitude Challenge! Buckle up for a month-long joy ride, celebrating the blessings that make our lives sparkle like a glitter bomb on a Saturday night.
Gratitude Unleashed
A gratitude challenge can be a list of activities or daily journal entries, guiding you to uncover the treasures in you life you take for granted or don't notice. Think of it as a Thanksgiving feast for your mindset. It challenges you to think about ways to be grateful for what you have and what you have accomplished. In pushing yourself to think about these things, you can begin to reshape how you think about your life on a daily basis. Commit at least one month to unleash transformation.
If you and I do this—rethinking what we have—we can consider what we truly want and empower ourselves to chase our dreams!
Navigating the Gratitude Highway
Let's get real – the gratitude challenge isn't always a comfy stroll in your favorite sneakers where there's a bench to settle into to take stock of your day. Some days will feel like you have stilettos two-sizes-too-small on while you're traveling through a torn covered path with no place to park your butt for even a second to think let alone appreciate. Life with try to throw shade your way, but fear not! On those drama-filled days, when life feels like a soap opera, gratitude becomes your diva escape. It'll have you sashaying through challenges, finding the silver lining even when the clouds are serving major attitude. Trust me, I've sashayed through it all.
The Unexpected Results
During my gratitude challenge, the struggle was real. I can’t deny how hard it was to keep going. Some days were easier than others. On those harder days it was even more important to make the time to remember the good of the day. It began to do wonders to my mindset, especially on the bad days.
Challenge Accepted
Envision this: a month of gratitude turning you into a shining star. It's like a behind-the-scenes look at your own blockbuster movie. Cue the confetti because you'll be accomplishing things you didn't even know were on your script. It's the kind of glow-up that makes Hollywood jealous.
The more I delved into the daily gratitude challenge, the more I accomplished! I encourage you to take this bull by the horns! Accepting this challenge could be the pathway to unlocking your potential.

Feeling a bit lost? Fear not! A quick Google search will give you thousands of options. If you love Pinterest or Instagram, there are plenty of ideas of where to begin. There, you'll find challenges tailor-made for you, waiting to add sparkle to your Thanksgiving celebration. Just remember to keep is simple.
If a search feels overwhelming, start with this:
- Buy a notebook (It doesn't matter if it's big, small, plain, or pretty.)
- That evening, before you close your eyes to fall asleep, take fifteen minutes all to yourself. Hide in the bathroom if you have to.
- Write the date on the top of the page.
- Write #1. and one thing you're grateful for that day.
- Then write #2. and a different thing you're grateful for that day.
- Then write #3 and write something different you're grateful for, continuing for #4 and #5.
- No matter what, come up with five things in which you can express genuine appreciation. They can be simple—small—big. All that matters is that you express in your heart, really feel it, gratefulness for each one.
- Lastly. Do this EVERY SINGLE DAY for thirty days.
Are you ready?
